About SiteDNA
SiteDNA is the photo communication app for landscape maintenance teams, built for the account manager. It was built by a tight-knit team that has run landscape crews, managed maintenance contracts, and watched good account managers burn out on scattered spreadsheets and 11pm emails. We're fixing that.
Four co-founders, all landscape business owners. A lean engineering and design team. We ship new code weekly, and don't pretend to be bigger than we are.
Why we exist
We help managers of landscape maintenance contracts lead with clarity, serve their customers better, grow their portfolios, and live with less stress.
The origin
Brandon & Michelle spent 11 years building a commercial landscape maintenance company in Calgary before selling the business in 2024. Jonathan and Jason currently run a high-volume landscape maintenance company in Denver. The same three problems showed up in both: enhancement work left on the table, customer updates lost in their scattered notepads, and account managers burning out trying to hold it all together as they scaled up. Existing software put services on the schedule. None of it handled the quality control issues or the enhancement recommendations.
"After 20 years in the landscape and snow industry, I've seen the same pattern over and over: Account Managers struggling to track and suggest enhancements, manage crew quality, and stay on top of countless small issues and requests from their customers. Scattered notes, overflowing inboxes, and photos lost in phones is the norm."
Brandon Comstock, Co-founder and CEO
The team came together next. We built our team of engineers and designers who had spent years building software for operators, some of them people we had worked with before. Hypha Dynamics Inc. was incorporated. The first prototype, then called IssueID, went out to a handful of landscape companies. The shape of the product settled around the property.
SiteDNA is being built by people who've lived this. We've likely shared all the highs and lows you've gone through running a landscape operation. Brandon has spent two decades in landscape and snow. Michelle spent fifteen years inside landscape firms, including a decade as CFO of a commercial landscape company, and now advises landscape businesses on systems and financial visibility. Jonathan has worked in software companies for years and Jason started as a field technician and has worked in every role in the landscape industry from technician to owner and everything in between (including account manager).
We're excited to be the ones to solve this problem for our industry once and for all, and love seeing all of the maintenance teams it is helping.

Demos and support chat run by founders. We want to hear about the flow that could make your workflow more efficient.
This problem has not been solved before. We innovate and we don't wait for permission.
How this shows up
No one else in landscape software is this property-centric. No one else is built specifically for the account manager.
Every feature earns its slot. Every dollar of spend earns its ROI.
How this shows up
Five integrations, not fifty. Three outcomes on the product page, not thirty. Five rows on the pricing matrix, not forty.

Poland
Designs the interface account managers see every day, from the property record to the customer report. Focused on tools that get out of the way so the work gets done faster, with years of experience designing for operators who don't have time to learn software.
QA Engineer
Georgia
Tests every release before it reaches customers, with years of experience in manual and automated testing across web and mobile platforms. The reason account managers can trust the app to work the same on the truck dashboard as it did on the demo.
How we're different
Everyone else packages what you found inside a document. An audit, a report, an email thread. Once the document is finished it becomes a file, and next season the conversation starts over from nothing.
SiteDNA puts findings on the property and leaves them there until somebody closes them. The dead tree the board had no budget for last year is still on the record this year, still waiting. A relationship that runs for years gets a record that runs for years.
Your scheduling software tells the crew what to do this week. It has nothing to say to the customer. SiteDNA is where the account manager shows them what was found, what it costs, and what changed since last time, in something they open on a phone with no login and no attachment.
Every property carries its last inspected date, so you can see the walk actually happened. Every issue carries its category, its spot on the map, and its status from open to closed.
You can check what is still outstanding on any property without chasing anyone for an update, and without waiting on your crews to have logins.
